Hello friends! As you may have guessed, I’m taking a sabbatical. I’m not going anywhere or doing anything different. I’m just taking off my writing and gardening and social media hat for a while. Getting off the ride. I’ll be writing what I want, when I want and I’ll be posting what I want, when I want, rather than working to a particular schedule. I’m probably going to crack out the hexagon quilt that I started when I was ten. This newsletter will go in the freezer for a little while (not too long I promise!) but you can always get in touch via here, or email, or instagram. Laetitia, the other day after I’d tidied the garden and surveyed my mini haven, I realised how much you have gently encouraged and influenced my garden life over the years and provided such long lasting inspiration. The plant ‘Lust List’ in The Virgin Gardener, the monthly guidance in Sweet Peas for Summer and the wisdom and comfort of The Five Minute Gardener all remain regular, trusted reference points for me and I’m so grateful for them all.
I’ve loved reading your posts, your honesty and down to earth musings are just a joy. I do hope you’ll feel one day to do some more, but it’s more important to look after yourself and your family. Take time for yourself and find solace in your beautiful garden, take care you beautiful lady you will be missed but will look forward to when you feel ready to share again. With love Sarah x
I've looked forward to your letters every weekend since I "found" you - I then forward to my niece. We both absolutely love your writing and all your emails I keep in a "Laetitia" folder for easy reference and reading. Enjoy your time out and you will definitely be missed. Take care xx
Morning lovely, I hear you! Take time to yourself, god knows we all need it. I love watching the time you spend with your gorgeous children (especially your daughters fabulous make up artistry!). You are teaching them so much more than ABC, you’re teaching them about life and I love it. Take all the time that you need, we will still be here and if you need any of us, we are also still here.
