Thank you so much for this post - I didn't know of this garden and it's about 10 minutes from where I've moved to! Definitely booking the next open day, looks fabulous
What a beautiful garden, I must try and visit at some point. Looks like a hot bed of inspo! As for half terms, they are long gone here but my husband just had 3 weeks off before starting a new job and (delightful as it was!) I found it had the same stalling effect 😂.
Oh gosh this is a garden to dream of. Little bit of everything but not too much of anything. Perfect. Do you happen to know what the beautiful purple flowering plant with lush green foliage is?
It looks glorious and I want to go!! The tickets are two hour slots -are they very strict about timing (leaving) because knowing me I could be there for a LOT longer 😂
Oh my word, how romantic and glorious is that? Thank you for sharing, I’ve never even heard of it. It was a reminder to me of how much I actually love green gardens. It doesn’t seem right to use the phrase ‘water features’ because they look like they’ve just evolved. Which I suppose they have. Thank you Laetitia.
What a glorious image of that single foxglove seeding against the wall and hedge. Simple perfection!
I know…star of the show x
Oooh this does look lovely and I'm in Bath so it's my neck of the woods. Will have to go soon 😊
Oh fantastic do go!

Lucky you! That means you are close to Derry Watkins’ nursery too!
Lovely post, words and garden tour. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind comment Lisa!

thank you - am looking for space fillers that also flower as an excuse to remove an awful rhodendron my partner is fond of (sshhh - don't tell him!)

Not strict at all - very relaxed and there is a LOT of delicious cake
