I was going to write about aims and resolutions for the year ahead but I haven’t finished thinking about it yet, so this is a joyful Happy New Year post to all of you, in praise of editing the Christmas decorations and the first of the snowdrops.
I am with you in liking a little time into the new year to actually resolve, while getting to grips with how those resolutions are starting to feel. Happy New Year excellent one x
For some reason Substack didn't alert me to your post this week so what a joy to find in this gloomy Friday! I love New Year planning (I don't do resolutions as such but more of things I'd like to achieve) but it probably takes me a full month to actually settle on what's what.
I love going to the cinema by myself. I saw “Jane Austen Wrecked My Life” - great title, book shop, gloomy heroine, FABULOUS wallpaper. And Llamas , or were they Alpacas?, anyway excellent supporting characters they were! Happy New Year and reflections.
Had planned to finish off my never ending bulb planting mission and how the heavy frost has come.... Might just have to haul the pots inside to get my tulips in
